My dog doesn't catch birds, but he eats the baby bunnies. I cannot watch, I wish that the bunny he chases out of the yard everyday would find another place (like our front yard) to make a nest.
My dog just flushed and caught a grouse. This was the first time I've seen her eat a kill and she was having a great time with it. A bit disturbing for me, though.
